Mobile Medical Museum features exhibits, artifacts , and history of medicine in Mobile, Alabama and the Gulf Coast. Mobile Medical Museum was founded by Dr. Samuel Eichold II, in 1962 , a prominent Mobile area physician. The Mobile Medical Museum is located on the campus of the University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital in the Vincent-Doan-Walsh House.
View over 300 years of 5,000 medical artifacts and documents . The museum houses the Ben May Library and J.L. Bedsole Archives , doctor’s registers, letters, and photographs,rare books.
