Valhalla Cave Preserve is located in beautiful Jackson County, Alabama. Valhalla Cave Preserve is one most awesome open pit caves in Alabama and draws cavers from all over the world.  Cavers enjoy an awesome 227 drop into Valhalla Cave  and  the bottom contains over a mile cave. Valhalla Cave Preserve is managed by the Southeastern Cave Conservancy, Inc. and requires permit to rappel into the cave. Valhalla Cave Preserve  is defiantly worth the trip!
