The 36 ft tall Statue of Liberty Replica is located  in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.  The statue was placed atop the National Life Insurance Company Building 1958. It moved from downtown Birmingham in 1989 to its current location adjacent to Interstate 459 . The bronze statue sits on top of a 60 foot tall granite pedestal. The statue was cast in 1956 in Somerville Haut Marne ,France by the Antoine Durenne foundry. It was placed on the National Life Insurance Company Building in 1958
