administered by 3 districts – Talladega, Shoal Creek and Oakmulgee., 245-acre of wilderness, Highest point in Alabama at 2,407 feet, Home of Alabama's Oldest State Park Cheaha State Park. The Cheaha Wilderness area is 7,245-acres. Dugger Mountain 9,200 acres. with the second highest peak at an elevation of 2,140 feet. The Talladega National Forest consist of 392,567 acres and is located in the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.
Hiking, Primitive Camping, Waterfalls, Campgrounds, Fishing- ATV: Kentuck ORV Trail , Hunting, Moutain Biking-Sylaward Mountain Bike Trails permitted on all Forest Service Roads ,ORV and Horse Trails.
