Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge Eufaula, AL 36027
Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge consists of 11,184 acres on the Alabama and Georgia border. It is located in Russell and Barbour counties in Alabama and Quitman and Stewart counties in Georgia. The refuge is located on the Chattahoochee River and beautiful Lake Eufaula. You can expect to find wintering waterfowl and a diverse eco-system of wildlife. Lake Eufaula is a favorite for fishing and breath taking sunsets! The area has an abundance of wildlife including some protected species. Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1964 and is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
