Facts

Griffin Falls is located in beautiful Dawson, Alabama. The falls is located on the top edge of  Sand Mountain and is accessed from a dirt road at the bottom of Dawson Gap on the right.  About a half mile down the dirt road you will go over a small bridge and there is a small parking lof on the right. You will have to hike up the mountain about 300 yards to the falls. A trail leads to the falls beside a small creek.  The best time to visit is after good heavy rains. Beware access to the falls is very slippery year around.

Hiking, Rock Climbing, Great for Bird Watching( have even seen Eagles in the area) Huge Boulders and Bluff great for rock climbing
